Nature of the Site

This site is a private reference resource. It does not host official jail records, booking records, court files, warrants, mugshots, or custody databases. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, change a record, file a court document, or act for an official office.

The pages point visitors toward Wood County inmate and jail record resources, public portals, facility contacts, and third-party research tools. Official record status always comes from the agency or court that created or maintains the record.

Rules for Use

• Do not use the site to violate any law or court order.
• Do not use information to stalk, harass, threaten, or intimidate any person.
• Do not use site content for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or similar screening.
• Do not try to gain unauthorized access to the site or related systems.
• Do not run bots, scrapers, bulk download tools, or automated extraction against the site.
• Do not interfere with normal access for other visitors.

No FCRA Use

Wood County Inmate Population is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not provide consumer reports, background checks, credit reports, or screening services. By using the site, visitors agree not to use its content or linked partner results for FCRA-regulated purposes.

• Employment decisions, including hiring, firing, promotion, or discipline.
• Tenant or housing screening.
• Creditworthiness, lending, insurance pricing, or policy eligibility.
• Licensing, benefits, or government-program eligibility decisions.
• Any other purpose governed by the FCRA or similar screening laws.

External Resources

The site links to sheriff pages, court portals, jail rosters, TDCJ resources, federal locators, legal materials, and outside search providers. Those sites are controlled by their own operators. Their content, availability, data handling, fees, and terms are not controlled by Wood County Inmate Population.

No Warranty

The site is provided as is. No promise is made that any page, link, phone number, schedule, record description, or third-party result is complete, current, uninterrupted, secure, or error free.

• Custody and court records may change without notice.
• Government portals may be unavailable or may require verification.
• Partner search tools may return incomplete or unexpected results.
• Technical errors, outages, or security issues may occur.

Nothing on the site is an official statement from Wood County, the Wood County Sheriff's Office, TDCJ, a court, or any federal agency.

Liability Limit

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Wood County Inmate Population is not liable for damages, losses, costs, or claims arising from use of the site, reliance on site content, use of outside links, or use of third-party search tools.

Indemnification

Texas Law

These terms are governed by Texas law. Any dispute must be filed in a court located in Texas unless controlling law requires a different venue.

Severability

If a part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts stay in effect. The invalid part should be limited or adjusted only as much as needed to make the terms enforceable.
